Who we are *
We’re Sam and Demetre, a young farming family growing food and flowers in Alloway, just outside Bundaberg. We’re driven by a love of farming, good food, Australian native flowers, and caring for the environment — and by a belief that local, thoughtful production really matters.
Our farm sits on the sandy soils of Gillens Creek, surrounded by bushland and alive with wildlife.
Kangaroos, echidnas, lizards, and birds are part of everyday life here, and they shape how we farm and the choices we make.
This is a third-generation family farm, with the second and third generations working side by side. The land has changed over time — once growing tobacco, then sugarcane — and today it supports grains and native flowers. Rather than starting from scratch, we’ve adapted existing machinery and infrastructure, making practical, respectful use of what was already here.
